http://www.knittingdaily.com: Prayer shawls can be knitted for anyone in need, no matter the season. The purpose of these type of knitted patterns is for the knitter to pour compassion and well-wishes into every stitch, literally knitting good will into the knit shawl pattern. Since the focus is to weave your thoughts into each stitch, rather than into complicated lace or cables, shawl knitting patterns are often simplistic but beautiful.
The theme of this post is the time .... I thought of a phrase of the little prince, when he speaks with the fox about his rose:
"It 's the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so' important '.
"It 's the time I have wasted for my rose ..." I whisper' the little prince to remember
Well, this phrase always comes to mind when I start working on a gift. I always say that that gift is never only the object, but even the time it took me to do it, and the fact that during that time I constantly think about the person who will receive it.
It 's inevitable. I do something for a friend, and all the my thoughts have turned to her.
And this mechanism always makes me think about the "prayer shawl".

These days I started a shawl for L., cause I have the impression that she needs my positive thoughts, and Saturday I went to a yarn shop, to..enlarge my stash! : P
I too need positive thoughts, and in the projects I have in mind for these yarns, there is, and hope there will be, my heart.
And talking about time, I would say it 's been too much since the last post ... in the meantime, my skills have improved a lot, I tried to do new things and I'm finally happy with most of my work.
I promise not to let too much time updating this blog with photos;)
